Week Four Round-Up
Jeebus, has it REALLY been a month already? Time sure flies! Heck, it doesn't even seem like it's been a whole week since my last Round-Up.
But it has been, which means it's time for me to point those of you who are new (who we affectionately refer to as "n00bs.") to my previous Round-Ups.
So, if you're literally JUST joining us, you're going to want to check out my Week One Round-Up, my Week Two Round-Up, and of course, my Week Three Round-Up.
All caught up? Good.
Normally this is where I'd tell you all that this is going to be redundant for those of you keeping up - but this time it won't ALL be redundant. The stuff at the beginning, yeah, it'll be redundant. But some stuff has happened today that I've added to the end, so click below for Week Four:
Normally I try to place images into the section they match, but since I'm doing an update DURING a big clue from P, all of the images will be from today. So if you see Hole3 in the MFI section - don't freak!
The week started off with an update to Sublymonal. After going through some intro scenes, you come to a a text box. There are lots of different "codes" for the box, but there's only one really important one. If you want ALL the codes you can get them here. The only one I'm going to post is "108." It's what plays the second DJ Dan podcast.
Then, on Tuesday, we got a new message from P. If you visit Hanso and go to "Active Projects" and then to "Mathematical Forecasting Initiative," there is a change. There's a new "MFI" button on the right. Click it and a map will appear.
In the middle of Asia there is a hidden link that says "She was an employee of the foundation." backwards.
But wait, there's more!
Find the U.S. Click on the dollar sign. In the text field enter "42,000" and hit enter.
Now, find Italy. Click on the syringe. In the text field type "10.4" and hit enter.
Finally, find Sudan. Click on the person. In the text field type "2.55" and hit enter
.
After you've gone through ALL that, a circle will appear south of India. Click it for your message from P.
Then my nightmares came true:
"HOLE3 - HYPERHOLE!"
Okay, I'm teasing. But a hole2+1 image DID make a brief appearance. I've asked my source about it, but he/she is keeping his/her lips SHUT on this one. I've tried everything, even bribing - nothing works!
But all is not lost, as the image was grabbed before it could disappear. I was worried this would be another long term mystery like Hole2 - but this time, people found "SAVE ME" written in the image! Could this be a message from P, or whoever the image is of? (Oh noes! I ended a sentence with a preposition!)
Okay, since writing that last paragraph, hole3 has reappeared. I've decided to KEEP the paragraph
regardless. It makes this feel more like "Breaking News!" While people were trying to figure out if it changed or not (which it did.) a new DJ Dan podcast appeared.
But again, we had to jump through hoops to get to it. The podcast page leads us back to the now changed compass site. If you click "108" it'll bring you back to the directory listing. Click on the "owelles" directory and then the tel_soul.mov file. (Yup, tel_soul is an anagram for Sell Out!) It'll take you to a YOUTUBE presentation of the latest DJ Dan.
Now, in the meantime, the WWPdp section of the Hanso Site had updated. If you click on "press release" and then the word "miracle" within that release, a text field opens. Password time!
This password was a little harder to crack than normal, but eventually people got it. Brainiacs found something NEW on the reemerged hole3. Under one of the eyes it says " D20." After some curious guesses at whether or not the password might be "Beholder" or "Chaotic Evil," several people pointed out that it was, in fact, "D2O" and not the D&D dice system, "D20." (Could the pasword be GURPS? J/K!) D2O is the chemical symbol for "Heavy Water," which also happens to be our password.
Type in the password and click "submit." (Enter doesn't work.) There are articles to read. Crank the knobs (not n00bs) at the bottom of the flash and have a look around. One article triggers a ringing noise. Click the phone and listen to the audio. After the audio you're given a "back" button . . . but don't go just yet . . . scroll around a bit first.
Okay, so that's the end of Month Numero Uno. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am!
A JURY IN BED HITS MYTH 8
Until next time.
