Week Nine Round-Up
Good afternoon, Nation.
It's Thursday, which means it's time for the long dark tea-time of our souls!
Mmmmmm. Earl Grey.
But that's not the ONLY thing special about Thursdays. Thursday is the day we sing a song about a whale - NO! Thursday's the day we make a post about being HAPPY! Its our HAPPY HAPPY Weekly Round-Up post!
If you're curious, here are the previous segments:
All caught up? Good.
If you've been keeping up, this may be a bit redundant. But if you're behind AT ALL, this is the entry for you. Click below for Week Nine:
What a week for our globe trotting Rachel, huh? Unfortunately for us there was no clothes Iron-Fist Rachel. But I guess that's fortunate for HER. Close encounters with people like Fixer aren't exactly good for her stress.
ANYWAY, the week started out with a LOT of action from the Retrievers of Truthiness. A LOT of action. They leaked us clues that eventually lead to this e-mail:
Spider Protocol? Interesting stuff.
Also, the password to get to the REAL Retrievers changed FROM "porter" TO "polar bear."
Then we got the bomb - Rachel outed herself as Persephone. I was wrong, Ninja was right. P = RB. (not to be confused with the ideal gas law.) She even called into DJ Dan!
Then, after a conversation with GidgetGirl about Valenzetti, it was off to Italy to see what Mittelwerk was up to. Could Enzo still be alive? P seemed to think Mittelwerk went to Italy to find Enzo. She tracked him down and gave us the skinny in a new video. (thanks Stephanie for the youtube link.) She also gave us an audio file of what the spy-microphone on the video picked up.
There was no mention of Enzo. Was P wrong about him? There seems to be conflicting evidence as to his birthplace. GidgetGirl says one thing but the Valenzetti Equation website has other ideas. Maybe Mittelwerk wasn't traveling to Enzo's birthplace at all. Maybe there is another significance to the destination. He certainly didn't JUST go there to talk to his cohorts.
No, he also went to have his blood replaced. But why?
In the off time, we got another new DJ Dan podcast. A caller mentions the "Karma Imperative." But he said he couldn't remember what it was called exactly. I'm thinking this is definitely DHARMA.
Finally, P decided to follow Mittelwerk again, but somehow she managed to lose him. Frustrated, she headed for the wharf to clear her head and got a pleasant surprise.
I wonder where she'll go next. Hitch a ride on the boat? Find what its logged destination is? Hide a tracer on the boat, then follow it in her talking car? (somehow) I guess we'll just have to wait and find out!
Until next time.

Man, a lot happened this last week! That's what happens when you have a four-day weekend and spend time in the real world with the sun and alcohol.

Hey Speaker!
How you doin'?
Do you happen to know why Rachel posted these newpaper clippings yesterday that were supposed to be the ones we saw about a month ago, which just so happened to have different dates, pics, captions and other stuff?
Only to have Rachel change the pics today?
Can you explain that, please?
