Is Aaron one of the "Oceanic 6"?
While it takes something (payload) 31 extra minutes to reach the island from outside it takes much longer for something (helicopter) to reach the outside from the island.
This is the day of the tsunami in the timeline right?
Why is kates trial in california and not iowa?
Is Aaron Claires? or is this a new Erin?
How does Kate know she isn't pregnant?
Where is Claire?
Why wouldn't Jack want to see Aaron?

All good questions, that I have no answers for, but I have my theories.
Something happened to Claire, was going to, and she passed Aaron off to Kate for safety. As for the tsunami, I don't think they will address it in the show. Jack may feel bad that he wasn't able to save Claire, and so he doesn't want the reminder of seeing Aaron.
I think that JNL was accurate in that the island is slowing down, most likely from the hatch implosion. This is wreaking havoc with traveling to and from the island, possibly making it impossible for the heli to escape. But, I think it was him that mentioned that the air travel may be worse than underwater, but Juliette stated they were building a runway, I wondner if she was telling the truth. Maybe the Others don't know what effect leaving the island by plane or heli may cause.
With all the heli's having issues coming to the island, how the heck were the food drops happening?

lectric74, Juliet was just poking fun at Sawyer (and I'm guessing crazy fan theories too)when she said they were building a runway...for aliens. I agree about jack maybe feeling guilty about Claire still being on the island. I was thinking that maybe he found out about their reltion after he left the island and that is one of the things that makes him want to go back. Also, what if the coffin is empty? What if this mysterious death was faked and whoever is supposed to be dead actually went (or returned) to the island?

It could be that the person faked their death, but it is pretty unlikely. I would think that the running theory that it was Michael would fit, but it could be Ben faking his death to return to the island. Just doesn't seem to fit with the theme. I do believe that the other Losties on the island are either dead, or hiding in the Temple with the Others.

Or...crazy theory...the Casimir effect took them all to another dimension or time. That is why only the 6 made it off the island.

One final crazy theory, based on the fact that the heli hasn't made it to the ship.
For every minute spent on the island, there is a doubling when leaving the island. So since those on the heli stayed at least one day, they will take about two days to return to the ship. It may not be related to the people's time on the island, but maybe the vehicle's time on the island. The water may have a nullifying effect on this, so the sub could come and go easier than a plane.

I wondered when Kate said she had to get back to "him" in the finale of last season if she might be talking about a child.
EW Doc Jenson article with Damon and Carlton says they will tell us this season who is in the coffin... it will happen in second half of season.

Federal trial can be held anythere (and that was where writers "needed" it to be ;)

Also I think helicopter is "late" because he didn't follow exact coordinates.

okay...anyone else have a wtf moment when Jack began explaining how only 8 of them survived, and how Kate pulled them all out of the water, and gave first aid to all of them.......she says that he has told this story so many times..so it obviously wasn't just for the trial...so why Kate? why her who pulled them out and not...Jack?
my theory on Aaron..he's claires, Jack doesnt want to see him because A. something happened to claire he couldn't stop and he feels major guilt. and B..he's having just a twinge of jealousy that daddy had someone else in his life and thats what took daddy away from him for all those years and Aaron is a reminder of that. or C...Kate had a baby by James and named the baby Aaron after Aaron, because Aaron got left behind, Jack doesn't want to see the baby because he is a reminder of Kate and James being together...but then that wouldn't go along with the whole I love you deal..because he can't love her, and not the baby, no matter whose it is...so knowing Jack, and knowing how he ends up..I'm going with option A. But still...he said 8 of them survived....so we know there is an oceanic 6..who are the other 2 and how do they figure in? I'm thinking one being the marshal who died on the island..so that leaves one more other than the 6...claire maybe? and if thats the case...what happened to her? where is she?
