It's sad to watch the beginning of Jack's decline. I wonder if he'll ever find peace.

The opening scene takes place on August 22, 2006.
That would be the day after the Yankees finished a sweep of the Red Sox in a 5 game series.

Scratch my last post...that scene takes place on August 30/31, 2007
That was based on the Yankees sweeping the Sox in a three game series, the last game being a 5-0 decision.
Based on a screen cap from tonights episode.

Wow, just wow. Not sure what to think, but I will be watching a few more times this weekend. Well, after I get back from Iron Man tonight.
Woohoo, I am going to IRON MAN. Can't wait.

Oh, and Happy Zuday to all!!!
I am going to Iron Man. ;)

Happy ZuDay.
Good but not great episode BUT it does lead perfectly into the end run. I am glad Hurley talked of seeing Charlie again and that Jack would be haunted. My family did not watch the mobisodes and didn't see the Christian scene...
I now believe that Claire lives at least through the end of this season... Just like we know Sawyer and probably Jin are still alive.

Apologies team lena--I meant to bookmark the other page not this one.

Is anyone else expecting glyphs to pop up? All this FF, FB, then "real time" reminds me of having to put those clips in order.

Katiegirl,
I guess I never really thought about it that way...
OK - on the lookout for Glyphs.

Since Christian is appearing to jack off island, that might be why Jack, high and drunk, to get his father down there in the season 3 finale.

Hello all, just making sure this thing doesn't die.
Oh, and Iron Man was excellent.

I'm not sure the story is headed in this direction, but it might explain why they moved it back to the 10pm slot.

Gary,
That was HILARIOUS! At first I didn't think you knew the statement...
Oroku Saki,
I this that is exactly correct. I think the sighting will be getting more frequent until he tries to just off the bridge.

Wow, no comic fans in this group. Can't believe that I am the only one who has seen Iron Man.
Hi all!
Posted by: lectric74 | May 06, 2008 at 02:45 AM
lectric,
I am just not a "movie person" of any type. I normally have the attentioon span of an 8 year old when it comes to sitting around and watching something. The DVR and DVD's have made it easier as they have that absolutely fantastic PAUSE button!
Only movie I saw that was within 1 year of it hitting theaters was Cloverfield and that was just the other night because my son thought I would like it (that J.J. Abrams connection). I didn't. The openning was way too long. The camera effects annoyed me and I thought some of the plot points were lame. Just reassured me that the money for the theater was better spent elsewhere (for me at least).
End of rant
* where did THAT come from *

lectric74,
I went to see Iron Man just after Lost ended and I thought I liked it a lot too.
Gary,
That's hilarious. lmao

I saw Iron Man Friday afternoon.
I would consider it one the BEST super hero movies of ALL time and think the Academy should SERIOUSLY consider Downey, Jr. for an Oscar. He was THAT good.
And with alot of these new sci-fi flicks, you can tell where the Cg is...but in this movie it only really stuck out...the scene where Paltrow 'replaces his battery.' Awesome FX.
Cheers

Glad that I am not the only one that went and saw this one.
JNL - It will be out on DVD, then you can watch at your convenience.
